This is a photogaphic blog with a particular focus on walking the Spanish Caminos. Also included are walks in The New Forest, Wales and Southern England.
There is a hint of Spring in the air today. I can feel the warmth of the Sun. The days are longer.
We did a walk of about 15 miles after a break of a few weeks. Although it's not a huge distance the total elevation was over 3,000 feet on uneven ground and I can feel the pain in my leg muscles. It's good for me.
I've stumbled across this Camino route somewhere near Malaga. Maybe it could be an interesting 'warm up' prior to walking the Via de la Plata again. I can't see any alburgues up there though.
I recently found these photos which I thought were lost forever. This is my first walking Camino, the previous 2 were done on a mountain bike on the Camino Frances. I spent a few days in Sevilla before getting the early bus to Monesterio and after a Cafe con leche or 3 started walking just after sunrise on 13th November 2008.
